There are issues in Cleveland yet to be resolved. Double digit home favorite has not suited the Cavaliers well. They are miserable 5-13 against SU losing teams and the Wolves off a upset win are 6-2. Looking for Minnesota to come out fighting.

Dallas Mavericks at Milwaukee Bucks
The Mavs are on 3 game 5 days road trip coming off a win at New Orleans with 4 starters resting. Now Dallas will return their starters going for 3 straight games. There are weakness on the road with Dallas as recent road trips before New Orleans was a blow out loss in Miami getting +2.5, OT squeeze with 1 point win no cover at Brooklyn and straight up loss at Toronto, cover with +4.5 points. This is not assuring on the road. The Bucks at 14-23 record is a dangerous team at home with above .500 record of 9-7. The Bucks coming off a loss playing at home they are 5-2 ATS. Dallas off a win on the road are 5-7 ATS. Understanding the pitfalls of this game and the reverse line movement we're taking the small road dog.

Philadelphia 76 at Los Angeles Lakers
New Year's Day at Staples center with Koby and company. Yeah it's the bottom feeders, but you got to take in the festive vive. The Lakers coming off a win at Boston as a double digit dog making it 4 wins out of 6. You know Koby is going to show flashes of his old self and Lakers had momentum on their last road game, but I see 76ers coming in playing well on the road. LA is porous and their offense has peaked in Boston. Siding with visiting Philadelphia even with the sliding spread.

Milwaukee Bucks at Oklahoma City Thunder
We have the Thunder rolling right now coming off a 122-112 win , no cover, against Denver. Now 2 no covers in a row, but the spread is still in double figures and it definately a risky proposition. However the high scoring Over is misleading and Oklahoma plays Under. The Bucks will look to slow the pace if they are to stay in this game. Look for the points to fall short of tonight's total.

welcome to NBA handicapping, one of the toughest sports to wager, but some capers thrive in this game. For us it's not so much about the degree of difficulty, but where the advantage lies. This game has evolved over the years and there are a lot of metric guys that's come into play, some are doing well, but we're pretty much old school looking at time tested edge and bit of insight.

Utah Jazz at Miami Heat
We have a match up of two Under trending teams. Jazz 5-2 Under and Heat 7-1 Under and both teams have gone 4-1 in away home situation. Though this may very well be a grind out type of game I see the number is Under bias and this Total looks too low. We're hitting the Over at current number.

In the early season the Thunder looks healthy and dominant. On the other side Houston is looking like a weak link in Texas. Usually a tough place for any team, but we'll lay the favorite.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Utah Jazz
The Jazz are top Under team at O/U 28-43, at home 14-22 and at 197 it's 1-4 this season. The 197 is 2 points above it's open, but it has come down from high of 198. There are contradicting trend to Over with OKC and I think this one will top 197. The Thunder are in a bounce back spot after getting crushed by the Spurs. The Jazz are showing cracks in defense allowing triple digit scoring in 3 of last 4.  OKC will give up points with plenty of opportunity for Jazz to work. Look for this one to edge the Over.
