Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Lakers
Looking to catch this game at Staples Center. Interesting match up of under achieved? That's what I see, high expectation teams playing losing games. They started hot, but getting balanced out losing of late. What stands out in this game is 13-2 Lakers home record against the Nuggets, but last time they met in L.A. Nuggets won and most of that record reflects pre A.I. & Carmello combination not to mention 3-1 Nuggets series win last season. Denver has been short handed and banged up, usually a great spot for a blow out, so what's wrong with the Lakers? It's not a hurting from injuries, but fundamentally out of tune. Their last game against Seattle, 11/27 106-99 home win, was ATS loss giving -12 points which looked like a blow out at the end of 3rd quarter only to allow Sonics back into the game in the 4th. Before that was Nets game, clearly dominating in the 1st half only to allow them back and lose in the 2nd half. What changed? Andrew Bynum moved into the starters role with Kwame Brown out and backups Brian Cook and Maurice Evans have been shipped out to Orlando. That last game reserves combined to score only 23 points.
Wounded Nuggets getting points is very dangerous here.

NUGGETS +6 at -112 for 1 unit(L)
Yeah +60% shooting for Nuggets in the first quarter and all down hill from there.
I saw it coming as I watched the game (called in 2nd Half Lakers -4) and watched the blow out. Sorry I couldn't publish the play.
